diabolo show

in honor of the birthday of Taiwan, a couple associations got together to put on an event. the show was from …, a diabolo group from Taiwan.

i have never seen anything quite like it. as a small kid, i did play with them but never at this level. they incorporated acrobatics and used the space aka using the balcony of the theater. they also included audience interaction which was nice. sadly i sat on the balcony so didn’t have a chance to participate ( • ᴖ • ｡)

before the show, i got some dinner at a turkish place. i went with a group of my mother’s friends/aquantances. one of them had actually never had it before, so it was nice to introduce him to it!
